The kiddos first roll the dice once and write the number then they roll the dice again and write the number. The put the number together and determine what number is in the tens place and ones place. You can use three dice for ones, tens, and hundreds place.

I also use the dice to play bump games

hOPE THIS helps and you can understand it

Thanks for offering the freebies. I use the big foam dice (from Dollar Tree) and we roll for place value (example-blue die is tens place, white die is ones place). We use dice for sequence at the beginning of the year. Students will roll a die, and then write the number that comes before and after. I have several other ideas on my blog if you want some more! :)

ღDeAnne
First Grade and Fabulous~DeAnne~https://www.blogger.com/profile/05821216484089984002noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4852170201325394014.post-11363294824357996602012-02-20T17:39:59.398-06:002012-02-20T17:39:59.398-06:00One of the dice games that my students play and lo...One of the dice games that my students play and love is Race around the Hundreds chart. You can have students in groups of 3 to 5 and let them take turns rolling two dice (or a double dice). THen, they have to add the sum and color in that many spaces on their Hundreds chart. First one to 100 wins! :)
mariecote123@gmail.com
www.cotesclass.blogspot.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
