So I’ve made a sweet teacher friend via this blog! Her name is Shannon and she teaches first grade in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. She doesn’t have a blog but a few of my items have been inspired by her requests! Last night she sent me pictures of her class using one of my units. I can’t tell you how full my heart felt seeing my products in action! So I thought I would share with you!
She was using the sequencing activity from my pack to go with There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Chick by Lucille Colandro. She had her kiddos come up and sequence the pictures on the board and then they independently completed the cut & glue activity (shown on right).
If you haven’t used this book in your classroom yet and this makes you want to read it (which it should! It’s a WONDERFUL book!) then check out my companion pack below:
If you have already used the book, then don’t fret! I put together a pack VERY similar for her There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Shell book! It’s great for the end of the year and getting ready for summer vacation!
And now….the winner of my Earth Day Mini-Unit is…{drumroll please}….
Congratulations to Jennifer @ Keys 4 Education!! I’ll send you an email shortly!
And for those of you who still would like to have my Earth Day unit, I’m putting it on sale for $5.00 until Friday!
Happy Wednesday!
PS. I’m watching that new show Best Friends…and it is HIL-arious!
Tag, you're it! Check out my blog for your questions.
